October 2021 has been a Hard month here at The Blue Donkey Sanctuary, We had Devastating Bush Fires.
We  lost a lot of our Grazing for our Donkeys and our Rescue Cattle. BUT thanks to you we got so many FEED donations and Cash Donation we were able to mend Fences, Feed the Donkeys and Cattle and to Top it all off we had Beautiful Rain! our Veld is green and lush and we are SUPER Thankful! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOU SUPPORT!!!

Can you please help us feed our DOGS?

We are Still asking for any Help in the Form of Food and Feed... We are in Desperate need of Financial help to feed our DOGS. WE HAVE 23 RESCUE DOGS LIVING WITH US AT OUR HOME. Why do we do what we do?

Making a difference. Every day that we can look into one of our animals beautiful eyes, is a day that we have made a difference.
We cannot save EVERYONE, but EVERY ONE animal that we have helped makes everyday worth while.
Respect for all living things and Nature, and have fun doing your part... 
Live, love, cry and laugh... a lot!When you open your heart to rescue, you see many many sad and horrible things, It sometimes shakes your trust in mankind.. Our fellow man do so many terrible things to animal for pleasure? How can anyone find pleasure in Hunting a defenseless animal, or abusing an animal just because they can. . Sometimes I want to yell out: "WHAT'S WRONG WITH US AS A SPECIES ! HOW DID WE BECOME SO CRUEL!!" Sometimes it feels like we are a small voice in a very big world that just don't care. Some days the Sadness feels unbearable... Is the sadness worth it? The answer is yes!!! Every time we see a donkey run and play, every time our pack of 20 odd dogs run to greet you and give you kisses we are reminded that it is TOTALLY worth it! These animals are kind and funny and loving and they make us roar with laughter daily!!
